Volunteering
I joined Open Politica because I wanted to contribute via digital products to promote the interest in politics for citizens, which is the aim of this association. I was recruited initially as a collaborator for DevOps tasks as part of the backend team. Then, after contributing actively to the Votu project, I joined the core tech team. Since then, I have been in charge of the integration of data to provide it to the backend and frontend, automating the tasks via scripts and GitHub actions. I also do tasks as part of the backend team and contribute, eventually, to the frontend team when necessary. Currently, we are developing a platform to explore bills from congresspeople, named Tuku, and a platform to share the results of surveillance for the agreements undertaken by our current president before he started his government.
